Downey Fly Fishers is a club meant for men, women and children that share an interest in fly fishing. Some of their missions include: To promote, improve and enjoy all phases of fly fishing. To fraternize and cooperate with organizations whose aims and purposes preserve our waters and to promote the sport.

The Escondido Creek Conservancy preserves land and manages the Escondido Watershed. They have a mission to preserve and restore the Escondido Creek Watershed. Their vision is that through the Conservancy's leadership, the Escondido Creek Watershed will become a model of vibrant urban communities and viable natural ecosystems thriving together.

Fisheries Resource Volunteer Corps monitors 14 wild trout streams through regular patrols. They also document the streams and any issues that they face and educate the public. They also assist tne California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW).

Founded in 1966, the Fly Fishers of Orange County with three goals in mind : Educating the public, conserving the fisheries and contributing it's resources in order to make fly fishing enjoyable and available to all who are interested.

San Diego Fly Fishers is a club with meetings, outings and training for anyone who enjoys fly fishing.

San Diego River Park Foundation is a non-profit that is dedicated to protecting and preserving the San Diego River. They also work towards parks, open spaces and trails to enhance the rivers.

Sespe Fly Fishers is a club that helps local resources, educating schools and stream cleanup. They are involved in the Trout in the Classroom program for schools and also sponsor different organizations.

​Wilderness Fly Fishers is a club that fishes all over the coast and considers Trout in the Classroom their largest achievement. They are dedicated to sharing fly fishing with others and to preserve the local trout.

The High Tech High North County Watershed Project focuses on the preservation of the Escondido Watershed and is looking into the re-introduction of Southern Steelhead Trout. We are working with The Escondido Creek Conservancy, and this website showcases our efforts and towards the preservation of California's wonders.
