Elfin Forest Team

Class A Team Members:
Garret, Dominic, Diamond, Kelly, Alena, Marley, Emily, Tait, Alondra, and Jackson

Class B Team Members:
Audrey, Vy, Carley, Kaitlyn, Brendi, and Robson

The Elfin Forest Team, overall, is creating and producing interactive materials to exhibit at Elfin Forest. There are different components within the team, like an adult group to make products aimed for adults to be informed, and the same with a group for children. There are also a few students working on sketches of wildlife and habitats at the creek, like fish, plants, and insects. They are collaborating with the 3D Visualization Team to create a topographic puzzle that includes information about the watershed and the Escondido Creek. To go along with this puzzle, they are also making a collage book with an about page dedicated to explaining each major chemical, bacterium, plant, and animal in the watershed. Each page would contain a brief summary and several visuals to help visitors of all levels understand some of the important components of the watershed. The student research papers will also be able to view, with numbers on the collage pages matching to the corresponding paper(s) in a binder. Throughout this project, the many different groups within the Elfin Forest Team created responsive artifacts that helped spread the word about the watershed and how to conserve it, which made a big impact on the knowledge throughout San Diego.
