Save the Trout
Picture
Save the Trout was a website made by a student at High Tech High North County who is very passionate about trout and other river inhabitants. His name is Carter Harrison and he loves the outdoors and is determined to protect, preserve, and restore it.  His site covers a variety of topics such as history, awareness, and next steps for dams and trout. His site is very similar to ours in that we both are trying to raise awareness for the watershed and it's codependent occupant.
Cal Trout

Cal Trout is a nonprofit website, their goal is to conserve and restore wild trout, steelhead, and salmon to their homes in California. Cal Trout was founded in 1971.  This website was founded by local fishermen with a passion for hooking who were driven to make a difference after they realized the lack of fish after local dams were built. Since then they have raised thousands of dollars toward the cause and have continued raising awareness.
Escondido Creek Conservancy

Ever since their founding in 1991, The Escondido Creek Conservancy has made massive efforts to protect and conserve the Escondido Creek, as well as other areas. They have helped preserve over 3,00 acres of land, and have been making even more effort to educate the population of the importance for our environment, in their never ending mission to preserve and restore the Escondido Creek Watershed.
