Today I got the chance to interview some 10th graders about their experiments. One group is testing the water quality with two different plants. These two different plants are floating Duckweed and submerged Stargrass. Using these two plants, this group will calculate which plant affects the water quality; they will compare end results.

Another group was testing different factors. One group member was testing factors that aid in trout mortality and the other group member was testing the animals carbon footprint to see how it affects the ammonia levels. They will be comparing a controlled environment with a natural environment to see how things can vary.
